Frida Ghitis : In U.S. you can be criminally charged for using a racial slur.

She says Lauren Noble was charged with breach of the peace for allegedly calling a black parking attendant the N-word.

She maintained her innocence throughout, and the charges against her were dropped last month .

Ghitis says the left doesn’t care about free speech, it’s about power, and if they have enough power they’ll throw ideological opponents in prison.
