He is the head pastor of a denomination he helped found, the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches ( CREC ) Wilson is also the unofficial patriarch of the TheoBros , a network of ultra-conservative men who proudly call themselves Christian nationalists.
Rigney worried about a kind of complacency in the Trump administration.
He wants the new church to push them further.
“I need a minister there who’s going to say, Obergefell [the 2015 Supreme Court ] is next. We're coming for that,'” he said.
