Biden's $230 million Gaza aid pier cost more than $31 million in damage, according to a new Pentagon report

A new report from the Pentagon Inspector General revealed that far more service members had been injured than previously indicated.

The report also noted the extent of the damage to military equipment despite the fact that the pier was not even operational for a full three weeks .

Biden announced his administration’s plan to build the pier during his 2024 State of the Union address in March .

Biden had promised to deliver enough food and supplies to sustain some 1.5 million Palestinian civilians for several months .
