Care and Feeding: How can we avoid raising an iPad kid when her dad is a phone addict?

My 10-year-old daughter and I are polarites; my husband and I have polar opposites.

My husband is a phone addict, but I am too, but to a lesser degree.

I'm not really sure what to do anymore. I try to be supportive and direct with him, encouraging our daughter to play with him.

Your job is spending time with your kid, not socializing with her in the way adults might.

You don't really need to feel bad about what you do and don't care about so long as you’re giving her the resources and time to enjoy her own interests.
