California, New York, Washington, Arizona, and other states sue Robert Kennedy Jr. over mass firings at U.S. Health and Human Services

California , New York , Washington , Arizona , Colorado , and other states are suing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over what they call the dismantling of the U.S. Health and Human Services Department .

The coalition of states is urging the federal court to halt the mass firings, reverse what it calls the illegal reorganization, and restore critical health services.

The suit contends the cuts were especially harsh on several federal agencies.
