Karmelo Anthony’s family has raised more than $279,000 off of the alleged murder of Austin Metcalf

Karmelo Anthony , 17 , allegedly fatally stabbed Austin Metcalf in the chest at a multi-school sporting event in Frisco , Texas on April 2 .

The suspect allegedly told police he was in self-defense when he was taken into custody.

Anthony 's family has raised more than $279,000 off of the alleged crime to support them during this “challenging and difficult time”.
