The majority of Maine residents don't want transgenders in female sports

A poll released Thursday from the University of New Hampshire shows the majority of residents in Maine don’t want transgenders in female sports.

The poll comes around the same time as the deadline from the Trump administration that orders Maine to comply with the president’s executive order that bans trans athletes from competing against females in sports.

Maine decided not to follow the order from Trump , so as a result, the “noncompliance with Title IX ” from the state was referred to the Justice Department .
