Virginia governor orders state police and corrections to sign agreements with ICE

Gov. Glenn Youngkin orders Virginia State Police and Department of Corrections to sign agreements with Immigration and Customs Enforcement .

Virginia prisons’ cooperation with ICE will be “proactive,” the order says.

Gov. Youngkin is co-chair of the bipartisan Council of Governors .

Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears , a Jamaican immigrant, is running to succeed Youngkin .
