Mel Gibson called for the recall of California Governor Gavin Newsom over his "gross mismanagement" of the state.

The 69-year-old actor told the crowd that Newsom and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass let them down after Gibson lost his home in the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire .
