Trump confirms that tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico will go into effect on March 4

President Donald Trump confirmed that tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico will indeed be implemented on March 4 .

He also announced that China will also be hit with an additional 10% tariff.

In early February , Trump warned that he would impose tariffs on products imported from Canada , China , and Mexico .

In addition to Mexico and Canada , reciprocal tariffs will take effect April 2 .
