Joann Fabrics to go out of business after filing for bankruptcy for second time in a year

Joann Fabrics announced it is going out of business and closing all stores.

The company filed for bankruptcy protection in January citing weak consumer demand and inventory challenges.

Earlier this month , the retailer revealed plans to close 500 stores.

Joann was founded as the Cleveland Fabric Shop by German immigrants during World War II .
