Alec Baldwin's new TLC reality show, The Baldwins , premiered last weekend .

The show follows Baldwin and his family through the Rust shooting trial that’s guided his life since 2021 .

Baldwin is not completely washed up, like Gene Simmons was when he made Gene Simmons Family Jewels .

The Baldwins exists for the same purported reason so many celebrities are doing more and more ads these days .

Inflation is hitting everyone, and celebrity expenses are ballooning along with everything else.

Baldwin surely has plenty of legal bills to pay, and he does have seven ( eight !!!) children to consider.
