America must prioritize births to survive

By 2033 , more people will die each year in the United States than will be born, authors say.

Fertility rates in the U.S. have fallen from 2.12 births per woman in 2001 to just 1.62 in 2023 .

Authors: By 2055 , fertility rates for women under 30 are projected to decrease from 0.79 births a woman in 2025 to 0.62 .
