Greene : Hollywood has promoted all kinds of sexual immorality and has done so for decades .

He says Hollywood has been the epicenter of much that is culturally amiss in our society.

Greene says many will find unexpected and astounding blessing in the midst of suffering.

Bob Greene : Now is time for Christians to reach out to those who need a special dose of loving kindness.

Greene: We all learned how tenuous life is, how much we need to care for our fellow man.

He says if L.A. is being punished for its immorality, that we are also to blame.

Greene says we should roll up our sleeves, kneel in supplication and confession, and do what we can.
