Women's bodies have long been politicised in ways that men’s have not.
Gillette and the launch of an advertising campaign in 1915 urged women to remove unsightly hair from their bodies for helping to popularise the desire for hairless female skin.
Many of the young adults I know don’t shave their body hair any more and many of them never started.
They are entitled to enjoy sport without anyone complaining about the sight of their body.
