Rep. Nancy Pelosi underwent surgery after falling and breaking her hip in Luxembourg

The former Speaker of the House of Representatives was in Luxembourg with a bipartisan Congressional delegation to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge .

Pelosi's office said that it was a “successful hip replacement” and that she was already “well on the mend” The octogenarian was wearing high heels when she fell down the stairs and broke her hip.
