San Jose State volleyball player Blaire Fleming, who identifies as a woman, can continue to play against women, a judge ruled

Federal Judge S. Kato Crews ruled that Blaire Fleming , a man who identifies as a woman, could continue playing on the San Jose State women's volleyball team.

A total of four teams in the Mountain West and a team in another conference forfeited their matches against the team over Fleming being allowed to play against women.

The lawsuit also alleges that Fleming was given a scholarship over female athletes.
