Marian Tompson , 94 , sent a letter to current senior leadership expressing how the group has become “a travesty of my original intent” The LLL is headquartered in North Carolina but has a presence in more than 80 countries.

Tompson said despite her efforts to redirect the effort, there was “nothing” she could do.
