Boise State women’s volleyball team forfeits match against San Jose State because team’s best player is a male

Boise State women’s volleyball team announced on Friday that it would forfeit their match over the weekend against San Jose State .

The team, 8 -5 overall and 0-1 in the Mountain West Conference , will play their next game against Air Force on October 3 .

“Sources close to the situation tell me the players have the complete support of the school, coaches and parents,” said a sports reporter.
