Marcus' daughter Emma Leibowitz is apparently preparing to be a federal law clerk on the Fifth Circuit .

Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz said of Leibowitz ’s campaign at the time: “This is modern McCarthyism .” Dershhowitz : I strongly oppose litmus tests and loyalty oaths by universities and law schools.
