View host Sunny Hostin’s great-great-great grandfather owned at least one human being

Sunny Hostin of ABC 's " The View " recently discovered that her ancestors were slave owners.

Hostin was interviewed on PBS ’s “ Finding Your Roots ” by host Henry Louis Gates Jr. He informed her that her great-great-great grandfather, born in 1824 , was the son of a merchant who was likely involved in the slave trade.
