Scalise Expects Return Next Week, Could Break Mayorkas Impeachment Standoff

Majority Leader Steve Scalise 's office says he is in remission from blood cancer.

Scalise has been out of Washington for several weeks to undergo a stem cell transplant and then recover from the treatment.

He was the sole missing vote when the GOP -led House held a vote on Tuesday to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over his handling of the border crisis.
