Prince William makes his first public speech since his father’s cancer diagnosis and wife’s surgery

Prince William made the remarks during a pre-dinner speech at a fundraiser for London ’s Air Ambulance Charity .

The fundraiser was attended by “Top Gun: Maverick” star Tom Cruise .

King Charles also had surgery last month for an enlarged prostate, which was when doctors diagnosed him with cancer.
