Pentagon Secretary Lloyd Austin will testify before the House Armed Services Committee on February 29

House Armed Services Committee Chair Mike Rogers (R-AL) will appear before the panel on February 29 to discuss his hospitalization.

Austin , 70 , faced controversy after the revelation that he had been hospitalized on January 1 and delegated some of his duties to a deputy without informing officials at the White House and Congress .
