Satanists expose the GOP doublespeak on "free speech" and bigoted rhetoric

Amanda Marcotte : Satanic Temple puts Satanic altars to Satan next to nativity scenes in state capitols.

She says it's a tradition for the Satanic Temple to set up altars in response to overtly Christian displays in government buildings.

Marcotte says this year 's display is playing out in Iowa , where Satanists have antagonized the Christians with a goat's head wreath in the state capitol building.

He says Republicans have defended genocidal and violent rhetoric under guise of "free speech".
