Bob and Jim were longtime law enforcement colleagues in Idaho for 31 years .

Bob ’s cabin burned to the ground one fall evening , not in a forest fire, but in a blaze the cause of which was never determined.

Bob and his wife say they thoroughly enjoyed their years there, but it’s too painful for them to really talk about it.
