Mike Lee Blasts GOP Colleagues Protesting Tuberville Hold

Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee joined GOP Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville to maintain a hold on military nominations in protest of the Pentagon ’s radical abortion policy.

Lee , who chairs the Senate Steering Committee , spoke at length in defense of the hold with each objection.

Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan said he was “saddened” by the hold, “more out of sadness and frustration than anger”.
