US neo-Nazi says He Fought in Ukraine, Records Place Him in Florida - bellingcat

Kent McLellan , who goes by the alias Boneface , has bragged of his supposed exploits in Ukraine .

Online court filings place him in Florida at the same time he claims he was fighting in last year’s bloody siege of Mariupol .

Records show he was legally mandated to remain in Florida in 2014 and 2015 , the two other times he says he visited Ukraine .

Kent McLellan has claimed he was in Ukraine for unspecified periods in 2014 and 2015 .

However, records show he was on probation in Florida from 2012 to 2016 and barred from travelling abroad.

The Florida Department of Corrections says he was not allowed to leave the state at any point during this timeframe.

He was incarcerated from 2010 to 2020 for a property damage charge and dealing methamphetamine.

In an August 2022 video from Russian media outlet Izvestia , McLellan flashes what he claims to be his Azov ID card in a close-up to the camera.

The spelling of the word for lieutenant’ in Ukrainian is incorrect.
