Dear Care and Feeding : My son is a light sleeper who has never slept as many hours as we’d like.

He sleeps in his own room, but typically wakes up 2 -3 times a night and calls/cries for us.

So far he’s been hitting most of his milestones in a very average way.

His pediatrician says that his verbal skills and motor skills are both average.

Your 10-year-old son is not drinking enough water during the day .

His dehydration problems range from having to sit out of fun activities to having to be sent home.

He loves camp and doesn’t want to miss activities, but it’s a serious issue both for him and for the camp.
