Rubio announces new visa restriction policy targeting relatives and associates of individuals sanctioned under Executive Order 14059

Marco Rubio announced a new visa restriction policy targeting relatives and associates of those sanctioned for involvement in the drug trade.

Rubio said the policy will apply to “family members and close personal and business associates” of those already sanctioned.

The announcement expands the Biden -era executive order, which Rubio now enforces under the Trump administration.
