Peace River Regional District in B.C. northeast issues new evacuation order

Pocket Knife Creek wildfire in B.C. has merged with another wildfire, increasing its size.
The Peace River Regional District issued an evacuation order for the area nine kilometres west of the Buckinghorse River , and around the Redfern Trail .
The service says the fire is now more than 610 square kilometres in size and considered an out-of-control wildfire of note.
