Changing crop variety could extend biopesticide effectiveness

93% Informative
Researchers from University of Stirling found that cotton bollworm pests show genetic variation in how well they survive after being exposed to biopesticide fungi.
Pests' diet, the crop it eats, had a greater impact on evolution of resistance than switching the type of pesticide used.
The findings could allow the development of biopestesticides that are effective for longer.
