Legal and General found 28% of women waived their rights to their partner's pension pot.

Her husband has offered her 70,000 if she doesn't claim his pension or future earnings.
Karen Stainton , 55 , offered to pay her ex-husband 135,000 lump sum out of proceeds of the house, in return for him waiving access to her pension.
But a decade later , her pension is valued at 450,000 - far more than the lump sum.
