Historic home of John and Amelia Park has come back to life after a sweeping $1-million restoration effort spanning nearly two years .
Much of the work focused on reversing decades of wear, including damaged roof timbers and decayed sill beams weakened by Lake Erie’s stormy shoreline.
The south porch was also rebuilt, while plasterwork and painting were meticulously completed by hand.
