Review: Skullcandy's new $99 Bose-powered earbuds are an impressive budget choice

65% Informative
Skullcandy's Method 360 ANC earbuds feature noise-cancelling technology from Bose .
At full price, the Method 360s are the most expensive earbud in the $ 99.99 range.
While they may not set a new standard, they do perform at the top of their category.
At times, their volume could feel a little muffled, but only when pushing the upper limit for testing.
Skullcandy's Method 360 earbuds are by far the cheapest.
The noise cancelling works better than expected, but for $ 100 , they stood out as one of the better pairs I've tested.
The case is by far too clunky and not very user-friendly.
If you're adding Bose-powered sound to compete with premium sound, the earbud should have a premium feel.
At $ 99 , the Skullcandy Method 360 ANCs are an impressive pair of earbuds that punch above their brand's weight.
While the case is glaringly bad, of all the features to be less than stellar on a pair of budget earbud, they could've done way worse.
