Why people are using AI to fake disabilities like Down syndrome online

70% Informative
CBS News Confirmed identified more than 30 accounts impersonating people with Down syndrome.
Many of these-backed profiles are gaining followers faster than real disability advocates.
"It's not right to steal our stories just to get attention online," says NDSS spokesperson.
"I've seen my friends' faces used in AI posts more than once," says one advocate.
