Boyne City’s Hills reaches Michigan football coaching peak, enters hall of fame

Former Boyne City High School football coach Dave Hills will be inducted into the Michigan High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame in the 2025 class.
Hills coached the Ramblers for 16 years across two stints, compiling a 125 -45 record and leading them to two state semifinal appearances.
The all-time winningest coach in program history is still a physical education teacher with the school.
The induction ceremony will take place on June 20 in Southfield , Michigan .
