Australian casino operator Star says first-half loss widened as woes mount

Stricter regulations and weaker discretionary spending pushed Star to a net loss of A$302 million ( $191.92 million ) for the six months ended December 31 .
Revenue in the half fell A$216 million to A$650 million , the company said.
