FHSAA Softball Rankings: See where Pensacola-area teams stack up in last week of season

Pace ( 22.513 ) and Jay ( 19.163 ) are Northwest Florida's top-ranked teams.

Four area teams are ranked in the state's top 100 : Pace, Jay , Northview ( 41st ), and Navarre (78th) The FHSAA softball regular season ends April 23rd , with district tournaments starting April 28th .

The regional playoffs begin May 7 and 8 , depending on the classification, followed by the state championships.

District champions automatically advance to the region tournament after the district tourney.

There are four at-large bids per region in Classes 1A-7A.

Pace, Horizon and Bartram Trail all get the right to host in the quarterfinals.

The Rural classification only brings two district champions plus two at- large bid teams.

Three of the four presumed district champions are in the top eight teams.

Christ's Church Academy is ranked ninth in the region, but gets an automatic bid.
