Canucks alumni: The only defenceman (other than Quinn Hughes) to lead the team in scoring

Quinn Hughes has a 26 -point lead atop the Vancouver Canucks’ scoring race with two games left in the year .

He is on pace to become just the second defenceman to lead the club in scoring in a season in franchise's history.

Paul Reinhart ’s scouting report on Hughes matches the ones you regularly hear, with him lauding the fact that Hughes is “obviously incredibly skilled, has his head on a swivel”.

Sam Reinhart was 30 when he retired from the Vancouver Canucks in September 1990 .

He maintains that his two seasons in Vancouver were two of the best years of his career.

Reinhart is the president of Vanhart Capital Corp. , an investment company.

He is the youngest of three brothers who had pro careers.
