Researchers at Zhejiang University and Cambridge University have unveiled LED display technology that's even smaller and potentially a darn sight more efficient.

Nano -PeLEDs feature "pixel lengths of 90 nanometers" and can cram in 127,000 pixels per inch.

The technology uses Perovskite , a mineral most commonly used in solar panels, to create the tiny LEDs.
