From Core Worlds to Outer Rim: Full Region Guide

The Star Wars Galaxy is a massive place with billions of habitable planets, but did you know it was broken up into several regions? Today we're going to be delving deep into each of those regions, as well as touching on some of the most well known planets and characters from each of them.

We'll start off in the very center of the Galaxy with a region known as the Deep Core .

Next up we have the Inner Rim , where the planets there were very wealthy and influential and played a large part in galactic trade.

The Outer Rim is home to many of the planets and characters that we love in the Star Wars Galaxy .

It was considered to be the bleeding edge frontier of the Galaxy with many strange, weird and wonderful worlds out there.

Outer Rim was rife with crime and other nefarious activities, but there were also many good people and worlds that were left to fend for themselves.

The expansion region expanded the Inner Rim to encompass the planets that were eventually discovered.

A huge portion of the eastern reaches of the Galaxy was made-up of these Unknown Regions.

The remnants of the Empire fled and reformed into the 1st Order, out of sight and out of mind of the rest of the galaxy.

Octo was the site of the very first Jedi Temple and became the place where Luke Skywalker exiled himself. Ilum was an ice planet rich with kyber crystals where young Jedi would go to gather them for their lightsabers.
