The iPhone XR, XS , and XS Max will not be able to run iOS 19 , according to a private and anonymous X account with an impressive track record of accurate predictions.

iOS 19 will be announced at WWDC 2025 on June 9 and rolled out immediately in a beta testing program for developers only.

Owners of the XR will still get updates for at least a year , but the new features and visual/interface changes won’t be available until they buy a newer model.
