Most Americans Say They Are Tuned In to News About the Trump Administration

About seven -in- ten U.S. adults say they have been following news about the actions and initiatives of the Trump administration very closely.
Democrats and Republicans give different reasons for why they are tuning in, but Democrats are slightly more likely to say they’re paying more attention.
Republicans are more inclined to say their attention has been steady.
A much smaller share of Americans say they have heard about the relationship between the Trump administration and the media in Donald Trump’s second term compared with his first .
Democrats are more likely to say they are worn out by the amount of news about the administration ( 60% vs. 37% ) Republicans and Democrats have different reasons for not following news.
