Canadian, international relief orgs plan response to Myanmar earthquake aftermath

A 7.7 -magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on Friday , killing over 1,600 people.
The death toll has risen to 1,644 , with the likelihood numbers will continue to grow as rescuers confirm more casualties.
Rescue efforts are underway, especially in the major stricken cities of Mandalay and Naypyitaw , the capital, to provide emergency medical aid, food packs and shelter to survivors.
