Lockheed Martin won a big contract from the U.S. Department of Defense in recent weeks .

The Air Force ordered the Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile ( JASSM ) and the Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) Both these missile types have been requested by Ukraine for use in its defensive war against Russia .

At $1.9 billion in revenue, the two missiles in question should contribute more than $250 million to Lockheed Martin's annual profit.
