Listings for used Teslas in the first three months of 2025 on BCAA ’s marketplace website were up 37 per cent .
AutoTrader counted 2,465 Teslas listed on its site during the week of March 16 to 22 , the latest data available.
Despite the recent controversy, Tesla has been the most numerous EV brand in B.C. As of the end of 2023 , ICBC had registered some 54,000 Teslas .
The latest version of Transport Canada’s inspection manual doesn’t include EV specific rules, so EVs get the same inspection that an internal-combustion auto gets.
