Vancouver Giants guaranteed to finish in sixth place in WHL Western Conference after Tri-City Americans lost to Spokane on Saturday .

The Giants will open the playoffs against Spokane ( 45-20-1-2 ) on Friday, March 28 , and Sunday, March 30 , at the Langley Events Centre .

The home games are because the Chiefs don’t have access next weekend to Spokane Arena which is hosting the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.
