Commission to lead electoral map change-ups got a kick start with this week ’s appointment of Justice Dallas K. Miller as chair of the 2025 Electoral Boundaries Commission .
The commission is newly reconstituted every two election cycles.
With record rapid growth over the past eight years , Alberta 's legislature is expected to grow by at least two MLA seats from 87 to 89 .
