The final few episodes of Severance answered some of the show’s most pressing, confusing questions.

Britt Lower : "In my mind, innie Mark and outie Mark have two separate consciousnesses. And when Mark is looking at Gemma on the other side of the door, he really has no connection to her.".

The actor says he's had to map these choices out in precise ways.

Helly R. seems quite free, moving forward without hesitation, no fear for what other people think.

As viewers, we know a lot more about Helly than Helena than Helena .

She's looking out at this sea of people who also have a consciousness and have friends.

It's like we're building a five -dimensional puzzle and solving it at the same time, and we all have to check in with each other as we’re building it together.

For my sake, as an actor, I draw lots of pictures of what Helly and Helena are up to, and I have a little graphic novel on my wall of where we are in the season .

I love watching watching Ben delight in all of the sequences of this finale.
